Waverly Weight Loss does not accept insurance for the
Serotonin-Plus weight loss program.   Payment is required at
time of visit.

Insurance carriers vary considerably in terms of the services
they cover and the amount of reimbursement they provide.
Because of the complexity and expense related to insurance
reimbursement, we do not accept any insurance
reimbursement directly for our weight loss program.

However, we will supply you with any requested
documentation to file claims with your insurance provider,
flexible spending accounts (FSAs) or health finance accounts
(HFAs).

Many patients have received partial reimbursement for the
medical weight loss program costs. Occasionally, all the
costs are covered by insurance.  Please contact your
provider for further details on coverage.

FSA/Flexible Spending Accounts

Patients who have a Medical FSA may use their current year
plan to pay for eligible weight loss expenses. The key to FSA
claims is proper documentation from our physician stating
the diagnosis of obesity and its treatment program. Waverly
Weight Loss will provide any requested documentation.  For
further information, contact your FSA provider or consult
with your accountant.
